Their recent “Voices In My Head (Genre Whiplash)” album (Globe Records) made the Top 100 Albums of 2022 list at Alt.Country Specialty Chart! (The Official Site for Alt Country) “Subtitle of this album is Genre Whiplash, and I get it. You get everything from alt.rock to cajun, to country, to Brownie Ford era Western Swing. But the thing that keeps this set together is their excellent songwriting full of smooth never-miss-a-beat lines and vivid imagery.” – Calvin Powers, WHUP FM, americanamusicshow.com – 4 songs onto rotation “Don’t buy this excellent album if you’re not open to a program that has roots in country and blues but zigzags all over the musical map. This largely acoustic string band—which formed on the West Coast during the pandemic—evokes artists from multiple decades over the last century and embraces everything from indie-rock and Americana to Celtic, Motown, and Western swing. If you need a reference point, look to bands like Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks and Asleep at the Wheel, whose records also draw on disparate sources.” – Jeff Burger, Americana Highways (also at The Aquarian.com, Blogcritics.org) ” ‘Voices in My Head (Genre Whiplash),’ is like taking a trip to a record store with old 78’s sharing space with new stuff.” – MJ Call, West of Twin Peaks Radio SAN FRANCISCO, CA Album available as CD, USB-Card and soon LP at GlobeRecords.com and all other music retails.
